Carlisle (Fg) - The municipalities of the province of Foggia affected by the earthquake of 2002, were an extension of emergency rule. The government has signed the order with which it is renewed for another year, then until 31 December 2011, the state of emergency in the municipalities affected by the event Foggia and Molise earthquake of 31 October 2002. A few weeks ago, were the mayors of the towns of Carlisle and Valfortore Celenza, respectively Dino D'Amelio and Francesco Santoro, to formally request an extension on the post-earthquake reconstruction in 2002. The request for extension was approved by a city council seat in Carlisle and Celenza with an act of City Council. Satisfaction was expressed by the mayors of the towns of Carlisle and Celenza. "The extension was necessary because reconstruction is not completed for damaged houses and classified in Group B and C - said D'Amelio - Not only that, we needed more time to solve the problem of VAT refund on costs for the work reconstruction. " Actually, the extension was requested for a period of not less than two years to complete the work reconstruction in progress. "The priority is now to make functional the damaged houses to let people back - said Santoro - not an extension would mean to have fewer facilities and less means of achieving that goal."
The two mayors have once again thank the commissioner structure and all those who contributed to the goal.
