Behind the small hamlet of Towers (1200 meters above sea level..) Varaita part in a short hike along a path that sometimes steep but well marked leading to the huts Tenou (1650 meters above sea level..) . The chestnut accompany us for most of the excursion up to the plane of Tenou where there is a small group of old cottages and a church.
