Car Alarm Installation

The pyramid Gilkey, K2

A pyramid of stones and rocks, a pile of tin dishes, plates and engravings, which has an immense significance for those who have climbed the mountains, Gilkey the pyramid is a monument common for those who lost their lives on K2.
The "mountain of mountains", the most hard to get the most ruthless and for those who try to deal with superficiality.

The first stone was laid in 1954 when the Italians conquered the K2 and the rise and tragic difficiele lost their lives for Mario Puchoz Aplin. The Gilkey Memorial was erected in his memory, but it soon became a symbol to remind everyone that the mountain has ruthlessly stopped trying to climb.

This pile of stones will be very little in front of the impressive surrounding mountains but the meaning is no doubt that emanates beyond imagination. Probably not easy if not impossible to describe the feelings and the sacredness of this "monument".

Canon Eos 400d Digital Tripod Head

The Gasherbrum II is another of the 14 peaks above eight thousand meters and its 8035 covers the 13 place among the highest mountains of our planet. At the time of his scoprta was appointed K4 only later took the name being part of the Gasherbrum II Gasherbrum group.

The Gasherbrum II is the third summit of Gasherbrum massif, after Broad Peak and Gasherbrum I 8,047 m 8,068 m. And the mass is located in the Karakoram mountain range, the Himalayas and is divided part and part of Chinese territory in Pakistani territory.

The first ascent to the summit took place on July 8, 1956 by an Austrian expedition led by Fritz Moravec, Josef Larch and Hans Willenpart.

Reaching the summit of Gasherbrum II does not seem to be easy because now there are not many who can annovrare that company among its climbing.

worth noting the company Goretta Traverso Italy's rising on Gasherbrum II in 1985 and became the first Italian woman to reach the summit of Eight thousand, the occasion was accompanied by her husband Renato Casarotto.

waste ...

think that every year are left "tons" of waste mountains, parks, woods ... so in the midst of nature, and this figure does not include the mountains (million tons) of waste that are left base camps in the mountains over 5,000 meters, where it is impossible to reach these places by public means of transportation and the "traffic" of people consistently produces huge quantities of waste without the possibility of disposal.

waste released into the environment as well as "dirty" and damages the appearance of the landscape, have a major impact because the total time for the decomposition of waste are often months or years and sometimes even centuries. I leave tabellacon below a certain specified time decomposition :

- apple core: 5-6 months
- banana peel: 8-10 months
- orange peel: 2-4 years
- tissue paper: 2 -3 -
month - paper candy / chocolate: 4-5 years
- chewing gum: five years
- cigarette package: 10-20 years
- tin tomato paste: 50 years
- polystyrene: 50 years
- Aluminum cans: 20 -200 years
- Calling card 10 centuries
- sacchetto plastica: 500 anni
- bottiglia plastica: 5-10 secoli
- bottiglia vetro: 40 secoli

How Does The Largest Sharks Teeth Look

The almost lunar landscape, slowly interrrompe and pursuing our descent we enter the green Val Duron, magical and distinctive. Small huts and cattle characteristic accompany us to the refuge. Micheluzzi (1850 meters above sea level..) And then, after a short stretch of asphalt, we come up area of \u200b\u200bCampitello di Fassa (1448 meters above sea level..).
The trip was made by me back in 2003, though the path is well marked, for its length and covered the hilly course it is a rather demanding need for great weather and a good equipment trekking.

What Happened To Heather Brook

place you go, you can find refuge.

Old stones piled supporting wooden beams, wooden doors inlaid with centenarians, suffused lights, checkered tablecloths and an old bar hung with the classic stick pins. Often we found ourselves during our trips to enter huts, making a leap into the past when they were only in leather boots and wool sweaters when a high neck and zip replaced, existing cells. But now 'and more and more', the automatic doors have replaced the dear love spring, the orders do not "scream" more 'landlord, who never moves from behind his counter, but are typed on complicated PDAs. Outside, of refuges or huts but 'something never changes, they, the mountains are always there, maybe less and less white, and perhaps more and more 'gray, but' always faithful and impassive at the time that passes.

Jewelry Cleaning Kits

"Enrosadira"

Enrosadira (Ladino "to become pink") is a fascinating and spectacular phenomenon that can be observed in the Dolomites ; nature gives us some magic and in the summer evenings when the air is crisp and clear as the sun sets bright, the peaks of the mountains turned from red to orange, from pink to violet, and then disappear into the night in the Alps. Scientifically, the phenomenon is caused by the fact that the steep walls of the Dolomites are composed of calcium carbonate and magnesium, the reflected light in combination with the atmosphere and temperature paint these mountains with a beautiful red or pink.
populations Ladin, still handed down the "Legend of King Laurin", which would give a different explanation for the phenomenon of ' Enrosadira .

We start from Ortisei (1265 meters above sea level..) And we carry high altitude (2005 m asl) with the gabinovia Monte Seuc, reachable from here to Alpe di Siusi and we take the path to Saltria. A wide path is flat to flat stretches alternating little incline, leads us to the junction Saltria / Sanon hut. From here the trail goes down with a drop of about 200m and after meeting through pastures and horses and cattle, we get Saltria.Prati free and features log cabins, they give us plenty of space where eat and relax in the sun in the more 'absolute silence.
Let's go back to the same path to the junction with the chalets Sanon and we follow this direction. The cart takes us through some huts to artificial pond where ducks and trout coexist peacefully.
From here until the last climb to the mountain of Monte Gabinovia Seuc Ortisei and return to starting point.

Blue Lake St. - St. Jaques Champoluc AO

from the village of St. Jacques (1682 mt above sea level.) Distant little more 'than 5 minutes drive from Champoluc, left the car in the parking lot inside the country, we follow the road until the end of the village . From there a small bridge we can cross the stream and follow the signs we can start our excursion to the blue lake (2220 m above sea level.).
After the shade of trees and greenery of the valley, after about 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking, we remain open-mouthed in front of the blue of the lake, particularly on if we are lucky to find a clear day.
Although the hike is in my opinion everyone should not be underestimate the difference in altitude of about 530 mt. and we must not forget all the necessary steps to meet the mountain and our security.
