Ciampac The valley (location of Canazei Alba) 2100 mt. is a plain located between the green peaks of the Colac and Crack Neigra. The landscape is characterized by fields most prevalent and only going up the side slopes meet rock formations, the landscape has a view of the Sella behemoth that stands in front of the Ciampac and a discreet glimpse of the Val di Fassa. The Ciampac can be reached on foot or by cable car from Alba, the arrival of the plants is the Ciampac Refuge, the Refuge and Tobià of GIAGHER Valeruz, facilities that provide shelter and hospitality to visitors.
along the meadows of this area is very frequent spot marmots and other animals that inhabit the mountain.
The Ciampac valley is the starting point for many excursions, trekking and climbing from there you can reach the valley of St. Nicholas, Buffaure, the valley of Contrin etc. .. In winter the area is part of Ciampac Ciampac-Buffaure.
The Ciampac is located in a quiet area at the bottom of the Val di Fassa and this makes the place much frequented by tourists even though the scenery and hiking opportunities are numerous.
